We’re looking for 2-3 highly motivated PhD students to join us to work on funded projects related to the design and implementation of nature-based solutions using participatory science and AI, sustainable in-space manufacturing, and microgrid sustainability. Selected candidates will be fully supported with tuition and stipend. Preferred qualifications (one or more):
·     Machine learning/AI/computer vision
·     SWMM or other types of stormwater modeling
·     System dynamic modeling
·     Life cycle assessment/Material flow analysis
·     Graph theory and network analysis
·     GIS
·     Programing skills (Python/C++/Matlab/javascript…)
·     Stakeholder surveys and interviews
·     Strong communication and technical writing skills
