Two fully funded PhD positions are available at DTU Chemistry, Technical University of Denmark, in the field of biomass valorization. The positions are part of a collaborative project between Associate Professor Martin Nielsen and Sebastian Meier, focusing on sustainable chemistry and advanced analytical methods.

One PhD project, supervised by Martin Nielsen, will develop sustainable catalytic systems for biomass conversion. The other, supervised by Sebastian Meier, will focus on developing NMR methods for quantitative analysis of catalytic reaction outputs. The research is supported by the Independent Research Fund Denmark and will be conducted in a dynamic, international research environment at DTU Chemistry.

Applicants should have a strong background in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related discipline. Experience with catalysis or NMR spectroscopy is advantageous.
