After four wonderful years in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Virginia Tech, my research group will move to the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics in the Cockrell School of Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin this Fall. We are very excited to begin this new chapter and the opportunity to work with top-notch students and researchers at UT. We want to thank all the colleagues, students, and friends at VT who have us to thrive our research and education during the last four years. I will personally miss Blacksburg a lot because of all the people I have a pleasure to interact and work with. At UT, we will have multiple opening PhD positions in Spring and Fall 2025, with the focus on real-time decision making for autonomy (robotics), generative AI, reinforcement learning, and distributed learning.
