Key responsibilities include hands-on polymer processing and recycling, synthesis and characterization of polymer materials, and the use of advanced analytical, spectroscopic, and microscopic techniques. The role also involves rigorous testing of designed systems, collaboration with interdisciplinary researchers, maintaining detailed experimental records, and contributing to technical reports, research papers, and conference presentations. The fellow will also assist in proposal writing and may supervise undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students. Short-term international travel may be required for work assignments.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in organic chemistry, polymer science, materials science and engineering, or a related field.
