About this position
Join the INOPA project at Université Paris Cité for a 3-year postdoctoral position in neuroscience, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of opioid addiction. The project, funded by INCa/IReSP, investigates the role of the SEZ6 protein in heroin addiction using behavioral, molecular, and morphological approaches. The research is based at CNRS ERL 3649 / Inserm UMR-S 1124 in Paris, offering access to advanced technical platforms and a collaborative team environment.
The successful candidate will modulate SEZ6 expression in vivo, analyze synaptic mechanisms, characterize structural adaptations in the dorsal striatum, and present results at international conferences. Applicants should have a PhD in neuroscience, pharmacology, or related fields, with experience in neurobiology of addiction, animal behavior, and molecular techniques. Fluency in English and teamwork skills are essential.
The position offers a fully funded 36-month contract with a monthly gross salary of €2,500–2,800, travel benefits, and continuous training. Applications are open until filled. To apply, send your CV, cover letter, and two references to Nicolas Marie at [email protected]. This is an excellent opportunity for researchers interested in addiction neuroscience, molecular biology, and translational research in a vibrant Parisian setting.
