The Chair of Mobility and Digital Innovation Management at the University of Zurich, led by Prof. Dr. Anja Schulze, invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position in Innovation Management. The Chair is part of the Strategy, Organization and Innovation area within the Department of Business Administration, and is renowned for its research on organizational strategies, processes, and structures that foster technology-based and sustainable innovation in firms. The research environment is highly international and publication-oriented, offering opportunities to collaborate on projects related to the mobility sector, including automotive suppliers, autonomous driving, and multimodal Mobility-as-a-Service solutions.

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will conduct independent research with the aim of publishing in leading international journals, develop an independent research agenda linked to the Chair’s focus areas, and actively contribute to collaborative projects and third-party funding proposals. The position also involves supporting teaching activities, such as course design and thesis supervision, and participating in academic self-governance and organizational tasks. However, the primary emphasis is on research excellence and academic development.

Applicants should possess an excellent PhD in Business Administration or a closely related discipline (Psychology, Sociology, Economics), demonstrate a strong interest in innovation management, and have expertise in qualitative and quantitative empirical research methods. Experience with academic publishing or clear potential to publish in top-tier journals is essential. Candidates must be able to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent English language skills; German is advantageous but not required.
