The University of Turku's Faculty of Technology, Department of Computing, is offering a fully funded two-year postdoctoral researcher position in the field of post-quantum cryptography. This position is part of a European defense project that brings together leading universities and industry partners across Europe, providing a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research and international collaboration. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, interdisciplinary team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of state-of-the-art post-quantum cryptographic protocols and algorithms.

Key responsibilities include conducting advanced research in post-quantum cryptography, collaborating with top-tier European universities and industrial partners, participating in project implementation and reporting, and contributing to academic life through supervision of students and teaching activities. Applicants must hold a PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with strong knowledge of cryptography or information security. A strong publication record, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in English are required. Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography is considered an asset. In exceptional cases, candidates who have nearly completed their doctoral studies may be considered for a Project Researcher role.
