?? ???Visiting PhD Student / "Doutorado Sanduíche"/ DAAD Doctoral Scholar/ PhD Exchange Scholar position available in Dr. Andrea Haqq's laboratory.Dr. Haqq's lab is looking for a visiting PhD student to help with her current research projects at the University of Alberta, especially in a study investigating the effects of semaglutide on energy expenditure in adults with obesity and type 2 diabetes. The lab is using gold-standard methods for energy expenditure assessment, such as 24-h whole-room indirect calorimetry and doubly labeled water, and a comprehensive evaluation of the body composition, using DXA, BIA, and ultrasound.
