Colleagues, LinkedIn probably informed you that I recently (and finally) made the jump to a permanent professor position, from junior-vice-deputy-sub-assistant-senior-postdoc-something-or-other. ?? Having my own labs, team, and opportunities to develop means a few important changes are coming, but the first and most important is JOBS!
- I will be advertising for a number of positions at all levels in the near future, meaning senior scientist, postdoc, and PhD openings. ????? ????? ?????
- Relevant for those interested in synchrotron radiation, X-ray analytics (especially spatial-resolved methods), advanced materials characterisation, catalysis, energy storage/conversion, and other things in development... ??
- If you're not so interested in those things, but you're interesting in related things which I may also find interesting, it may also be interesting to apply. If you have the interest.
- Exciting point about these jobs is moving to Vienna. You might have heard that it's really nice here. Well, I can tell you that it is, in fact, really nice here. ???
- Important prerequisite for a job in my group is that you have a clear idea of who you are (yes, really), and a relative indication of the direction you want to go in. Otherwise, how can I help you get there? Also if you don't know those things, how will you find your way to the interview, or to work in the morning? ??
