Starlab Barcelona, a leading private R&D company in Spain, invites applications for a PhD position in Neuroscience Artificial Intelligence as part of the Marie Curie VISIONBRAIN Network. This three-year, full-time position offers the opportunity to conduct innovative research at the intersection of neuroinformatics, biomedical engineering, and artificial intelligence. The successful candidate will join the Neuroscience Business Unit and collaborate with Neuroelectrics, a world leader in wireless neurotechnology for brain monitoring and stimulation.
Starlab is pioneering digital health breakthroughs, focusing on measuring and modulating the electrical activity of the human brain. Research areas include biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases and mental health, personalized treatments, consciousness studies, closed-loop electrical brain stimulation, and affective computing with applications in business, culture, and user experience assessment (UXA).
