The Research Group of Work and Organizational Psychology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is excited to announce a job opening for a doctoral candidate (100% position, 4 years). Are you passionate about advancing research on burnout? If so, we want to hear from you!

As a PhD student, you will delve into the topic of burnout. You will use a network approach to study burnout dynamics. This position offers the unique opportunity to develop expertise in advanced quantitative methods (e.g., using psychometric network models), while communicating findings to both academic and practitioner audiences.

We’d love to hear from you if you:
? Hold a master’s degree in Psychology (Work & Organizational, Clinical, or Experimental Psychology preferred; ?????????????????????????????? are highly valued).
? Have a strong interest in conducting academic research.
? Are eager to reconceptualize burnout with network approaches, thus advancing our understanding of what burnout is (not), how it develops over time, and who is more likely to develop or recover from burnout.
? Are enthusiastic about learning and applying research skills and advanced quantitative research methods, as well as adopting open science practices.
? Look forward to sharing your research with diverse audiences, including academic peers and practitioners.
