Télécom SudParis, a leading public graduate engineering school in France, is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher for a 12-month contract in computer science, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) systems. The institution is renowned for its excellence in digital technology and is part of the prestigious Institut Mines-Telecom and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris. The successful candidate will join the DiSSEM Team, working under the supervision of Dr. Georgios Bouloukakis, and contribute to the MEDIATE research scope, which aims to develop trustworthy AI models for continual, energy-efficient, and robust operation of AIoT systems. Research activities will include scalable synthetic data generation enabled by machine learning, federated learning of compact data representations to minimize data needs, and adaptive distribution and optimization of AI inferencing across the cloud-edge continuum. The position is based in Evry-Courcouronnes, France, with flexible working conditions including teleworking options, on-site amenities, and accessibility support. Applicants must have a PhD (obtained within the last 3 years), strong programming skills (Java, C, C++, Python), and preferably experience in IoT-Edge-Cloud technologies, self-adaptive systems, and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
