PhD in Software Engineering

A fully funded PhD position is available in Software Engineering at the University of Calgary, supervised by Assistant Professor Gouri Ginde. The research will be conducted in the Software Hub for AnalytiKs, Technology and Innovation (S.H.A.K.T.I) lab, focusing on Data Analytics and Applied AI/ML technologies to address software engineering problems. The position is funded by NSERC and seeks candidates with IT industry experience, strong research and communication skills, and a relevant master's degree (MSc in Electrical and Software Engineering or Computer Science) with a GPA above 3.5 and IELTS above 7.0. Responsibilities include advanced research, academic publications, participation in seminars and conferences, teaching assistant duties, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
