The University of Auckland Business School is seeking applications for two full-time, permanent Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions in International Business and Human Resource Management/Organisational Behaviour. The roles are based in the Department of Management and International Business, which is part of the top-ranked, triple-crown accredited Auckland Business School. The department is active in research and teaching across areas such as Organisation Studies, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Innovation and Strategy, and International Business.
The International Business position focuses on research and teaching in areas such as SME internationalisation, scaling of entrepreneurial ventures, and the impact of digitalisation on internationalisation strategies. The Human Resource Management/Organisational Behaviour position seeks candidates with expertise in quantitative research methods, people analytics, and data-driven approaches to workplace behaviour. Both positions require the ability to teach across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a preference for candidates who can engage executive or MBA learners and adopt innovative pedagogies.
Applicants must hold a PhD in a relevant discipline and demonstrate a potential or proven track record in publishing in top-tier journals, teaching, attracting research funding, curriculum design, and graduate supervision. Strong communication skills and a commitment to departmental service are essential.
