Complex lipid membranes for science and technology

The CLIMB Doctoral Network, funded by the EU Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, is launching 12 PhD positions across leading European institutions, including one at Lund University. The network focuses on fundamental and applied research into complex lipid membranes, aiming to advance knowledge in membrane structure, interactions, and the development of lipid-based nanomaterials for applications such as drug delivery, biosensors, and sustainable formulations. The Lund University position will be supervised by Professor Marie Skepö and is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in physics, chemistry, biology, or pharmaceutical sciences. The program offers interdisciplinary training, hands-on experience with industrial partners, and opportunities to develop both research and transferable skills. The position is fully funded, with a competitive salary and benefits in line with MSCA regulations.
