PhD Position in Nanomedicine, Drug Delivery, and Extracellular Vesicles at UKM Medical Molecular Biology Institute
The UKM Medical Molecular Biology Institute (UMBI) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is recruiting a PhD candidate for a cutting-edge research project funded under LRGS 2025. The project focuses on advanced therapeutic science, specifically exploring extracellular vesicles (EVs), nanomedicine, drug delivery, toxicity studies, and in vivo models. This opportunity is ideal for passionate and driven researchers interested in biomedical science and biotechnology.
Applicants must be Malaysian citizens, able to register as full-time students, and hold a Master's degree in Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, or related fields. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, a team player, and proficient in both Malay and English. The successful applicant will join a dynamic research environment at UMBI, working under the supervision of Associate Professor Nadiah Abu and Nurul Izza Umar.
The position offers a monthly stipend of RM 2800 and is based at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The research will involve hands-on work with extracellular vesicles, nanomedicine, drug delivery systems, toxicity assessment, and in vivo experimental models.
