Postdoctoral Position: Machine Learning for High-Resolution Seismic and Volcanic Signal Analysis on Fiber-Optic Cables in Iceland

The signals captured reflect a range of subterranean, oceanic, and atmospheric processes, using advanced sensing technologies such as distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) and per-span interferometry.
The successful candidate will join the AI Antenna project and collaborate closely with supervisors to define and shape the research direction. The project aims to combine machine learning and data science techniques with seismology to automate and enhance the analysis of complex geophysical datasets.
