UQAT PhD Scholarship

Fully funded PhD opportunity at Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) in Canada, focused on soil health, carbon modeling, agricultural systems, and environmental/agricultural modeling. The project studies the impact of extending grasslands in perennial forage-based crop rotations in Quebec, with emphasis on soil carbon dynamics, carbon storage, and climate change.

The doctoral research is based at UQAT’s Institute for Agricultural and Agri-Food Research (IRAA), in the Temiscamingue / Notre-Dame-du-Nord area of Quebec. The work combines field experiments, laboratory analysis, and statistical modeling.
