We have an opportunity for a fully funded (RTP rate stipend + international fees) PhD scholarship for up to 3.5 years. The topic is focused on the fluid mechanics of bush-fire particulate inhalation under a variety of breathing conditions. We are looking predominantly for someone interested in developing advanced experiments to study this problem. This is a highly multidisciplinary project involving the School of AMME & the Heat and Health research incubator (University of Sydney), Royal North Shore Hospital, and UNSW Sydney.
