About this position

Carthage College is inviting applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Biology position, with a primary focus on teaching Anatomy and Physiology courses for biology majors, nursing, and pre-health students. The successful candidate will also contribute to other introductory and upper-level biology courses as needed. This is a 1-year contract with the potential for renewal, beginning August 16, 2026.

Applicants must hold at least an M.S. in Biology or a closely related discipline; a Ph.D. is preferred. Experience in innovative curriculum or pedagogical development is highly valued. The expected teaching load is 32 credits per year.
