Viktor Gsteiger will present our paper there on how holistic and fine-grained geospatial shifting can reduce carbon emissions of cloud workloads. A few colleagues who have heard about our work or read our paper have mentioned that it’s quite interesting. So, come to our session, Tuesday (11/5), 2-3:30pm, and learn more about our system, Caribou. Also, Daniel Long will lead the poster presentation of this paper, Monday, 4:30-6:30pm.
If you can’t make it to SOSP, here are the links to our paper and the open-source framework:

Lastly, my lab ( https://cirrus.ece.ubc.ca/ ) is actively conducting research in the area of sustainability in computing, and I'm looking for passionate PhD students to join my team. If interested, reach out by email. # phdposition
