A PhD opportunity is available to study the tectonics of the Central African Copperbelt, supervised by Dr. Sheree Armistead .
The project focuses on how tectonics and climate influenced the formation of major copper and cobalt deposits. It includes fieldwork in Zambia, geochronology, and plate tectonic modeling.
Requirements: MSc in Geosciences or related field. Strong interest in fieldwork and geochemistry.
