About this position

This bank holiday weekend, why not do something that could change the course of your future career?

Apply here: https://lnkd.in/eqg9udDP

We have a fantastic PhD opportunity to work with me, Rebecca Higginson
at Loughborough University and Chris Bebbington
from enfinium to explore the microstructures of waste to energy gate bars. These bars operate at very high temperatures where some metals in the fuel will melt, others will dissolve into molten salts and the bars themselves will degrade through oxidation, corrosion and microstructural change.

This project will make use of our Loughborough Materials Characterisation Centre (LMCC) facilities and expertise and will provide opportunity for you to work closely with industry and academic experts to help unravel some of the microstructural challenges that exist in this application.

Please do get in touch if you would like any further information.
