The University of Arizona's Electrical and Computer Engineering department, led by Assistant Professor Qingzhao Zhang, is recruiting fully funded PhD students for Fall 2026 and research interns for Summer 2026. The research group focuses on system security and trustworthy AI for cyber-physical systems, including autonomous vehicles, drones, industrial platforms, and the safety and security of large language models in real-world deployment. Candidates passionate about security, AI robustness, CPS reliability, or LLM safety are encouraged to apply.
