The Technische Universität Wien (TU Wien) is Austria's largest research and educational institution in the technical and natural sciences, with a tradition of over 200 years of excellence. The Institute for Mechanics of Materials and Structures, specifically in the research area of strength of materials and biomechanics, is offering a PhD (Prae-Doc) position expected to start in March 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to research and teaching activities, including supporting courses such as strength of materials, engineering mechanics, and structural systems.
