PhD Stipend and Postdoc in Computational Materials Discovery and Disordered Crystalline Materials Aalborg University in Denmark

Two research opportunities are available at the Department of Chemistry and Bioscience, Aalborg University in Denmark: a PhD stipend in Accelerated Materials Discovery and a 2-year postdoc in Computational Discovery of Disordered Crystalline Materials.

The research theme is computational materials discovery, with a strong emphasis on materials science, computational chemistry, machine learning, data-driven modelling, and the design of sustainable energy materials. The PhD project focuses on developing accelerated approaches for discovering new functional materials using simulations and computational design. The postdoc project focuses on tailoring disorder in crystalline materials to improve performance and unlock new material properties.
