Applicants should have a first degree in Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Environmental Science, Oceanography, Marine Science, Geography, Meteorology or a similar quantitative discipline. Enthusiasm for atmospheric/marine sciences and experience or willingness to learn programming are required. Academic qualifications are considered alongside non-academic experience, and potential is valued equally with past experience. International applicants must meet visa and immigration requirements for study in the UK.
