The Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IM PAN) in Warsaw is inviting applications for a two-year postdoctoral position funded by the NCN OPUS grant "Quantum GTA I: Groups, Topology and Algebras," led by Professor Adam Skalski. This research project focuses on the investigation of approximation properties and the structure of state spaces of operator algebras, with particular emphasis on quantum groups as well as classical groups. The project aims to apply and interpret the results within the frameworks of quantum probability and quantum information theory, offering a rich environment for mathematical research at the intersection of algebra, topology, and quantum theory.
