The University of Birmingham, in collaboration with the Quadram Institute Bioscience, is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit in Public Health Genomics at the Institute of Microbiology and Infection. This position, led by Lindsay J Hall (Chair of Microbiome Research & Group Leader), offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge metagenomics and public health. The research will focus on maternal-infant health, early-life infection, and the application of advanced 'omics methods to understand under-appreciated and hard-to-detect pathogens, particularly in at-risk populations and across environmental systems.
