A 2-year postdoctoral researcher position is available at ECPM Ecole européenne de chimie polymères et matériaux de Strasbourg, in collaboration with ICPEES and the industrial partner MICHELIN. The research focuses on developing innovative materials and processes at the intersection of academic and industrial research, specifically targeting electrospinning and photopolymerization for the creation of biodegradable elastomeric nanofiber mats. The project aims to optimize photo-crosslinking during or after the electrospinning process, study various formulations and irradiation conditions, and characterize the resulting membranes for mechanical and physicochemical properties.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic research team at ICPEES, a joint research unit between CNRS and the University of Strasbourg, with access to state-of-the-art facilities for material synthesis and characterization. The project is part of a collaboration with MICHELIN, a leader in innovative, environmentally friendly materials, offering opportunities for interaction with industrial researchers and potential experiments at the MICHELIN site.

Applicants should have a PhD in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, or a related field, with additional expertise in photochemistry considered an advantage.
