???? Exciting PhD Opportunity in Neurodegeneration Therapeutics – Apply by 26 August

I’m looking for a highly motivated PhD student to join my group at the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Limerick and the Faculty of Science and Engineering, University of Limerick , for a fully funded 3-year PhD position.

The project focuses on receptor-mediated protein propagation in Parkinson’s disease, using computational biophysics, omics data integration, and AI-guided peptide design to tackle one of the most pressing challenges in neurodegenerative research.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment supported by the Bernal Institute, University of Limerick and SSPC, Research Ireland Centre for Pharmaceuticals with access to state-of-the-art computational resources and expert mentorship.
