PhD position
The Metal Homeostasis in Plant-Microbe Interactions group at the Centro de Biotecnología y Genómica de Plantas (UPM-INIA/CSIC) is offering a 4-year PhD position to study the role of copper-proteins in symbiotic nitrogen fixation.
The project will involve a broad training in protein biochemistry, genetics, immunolocalization, protein–protein interactions, synchrotron-based methods, as well as opportunities for international collaborations and mobility.
We are looking for motivated candidates with a background in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or related areas, and with strong interest in protein biochemistry.
