Our Textile and Apparel Science Laboratory (TASL) is hiring PhD students in the field of Fire Protective Textiles and Clothing. TASL houses state-of-the-art technology and lab equipment that is utilized to test and research the physical and chemical properties of fire protective textiles, polymer materials and apparel to assess their serviceability. As a teaching and research-based laboratory, TASL investigates various topics from the fundamentals of garment quality to the advanced properties of polymers.
