The University of Graz invites applications for the position of University Assistant without Doctorate (PhD Position) at the Centre for Social Competence. This four-year, part-time role (20 hours per week) offers an annual gross salary of at least €52,865.40, with the possibility of overpayment based on qualifications and experience. The position is designed for candidates who wish to pursue a dissertation while actively contributing to research and teaching within the Centre.
As a University Assistant, you will collaborate on research projects focused on social competencies, participate in conferences, workshops, and symposia, and engage in teaching and examination tasks. You will independently teach courses, supervise and co-supervise academic theses, and contribute to organizational and administrative activities, including evaluation processes. Applicants should hold a completed diploma or master’s degree, preferably in Sociology or European Ethnology/Cultural Anthropology.
