Postdoctoral Associate in Computational Social Science and Data Science at NYU Abu Dhabi

New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking Post-Doctoral Associates in the Division of Social Science, with a focus on Data Science and Computational Social Science. The position is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and offers a unique opportunity to engage in multidisciplinary research at a globally recognized institution. Research topics may include social media analysis, collaboration and teamwork, gender inequality, diversity, online controlled experiments, and network science. The successful candidate will split their time between collaborative research with Assistant Professor Bedoor AlShebli and independent research projects. Applicants should hold a PhD in Data Science, Computational Social Science, Computer Science, or Information Science, awarded within the last five years. Experience in at least one of the following areas is required: Data Science, Machine Learning, Computational Social Science, or Big Data. Additional skills such as statistical analysis, data management and collection, causal inference, network analysis, graph theory, visualizations, and online tool development are highly valued. Experience with online controlled experiments is desirable but not mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and scientific creativity.
