Postdoctoral Research Position in Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Systems

A postdoctoral research position is available at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) in the field of renewable energy and hydrogen systems. The project, funded by UAEU, focuses on hybrid renewable energy sources integrated with hydrogen-based systems, supporting the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 vision and hydrogen economy strategy. Research areas include photovoltaic (PV) systems, hybrid renewable architectures, hydrogen production and storage, fuel cell technologies, microgrid modeling, energy management, AI-based optimization, intelligent control, and experimental validation. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, or a closely related field, with a strong background in renewable energy and/or hydrogen technologies. Experience in modeling, simulation, and laboratory research is required, and knowledge of AI or machine learning applications in energy systems is advantageous.
