The research group, led by Dr. Debanjali Bhattacharya (Assistant Professor, Sr. Gr.) and coordinated by Dr. Thangam S., offers an opportunity to work on impactful projects involving multimodal data fusion for disease modelling, temporal and longitudinal analysis of disease progression, explainable AI for biomedical feature interpretation, early detection and precision diagnosis of neurological disorders, and personalized therapy design with risk-based stratification.
Applicants should have a postgraduate degree (M.Tech/M.Sc.) in CSE, ECE, EEE, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence, and a keen interest in neuroscience research. Essential skills include proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and R, solid foundational knowledge in signal and image processing, mathematics, statistics, and a strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modelling techniques. Fundamental knowledge in biology and human physiology is also required.
The position offers a fellowship starting from Rs. 35,000 per month and opportunities to collaborate with experts from academia and industry both within India and abroad.
