Romanian Government Fully Funded Scholarships for Undergraduate, Masters, and PhD in Multiple Fields
The Romanian Government Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarships offer fully funded opportunities for international students from non-EU countries to pursue undergraduate, master's, and PhD degrees at accredited Romanian universities. This prestigious program is designed to promote global education, cultural exchange, and academic excellence. Eligible fields include Architecture, Visual Arts, Romanian Culture & Civilization, Journalism, Political & Administrative Sciences, Engineering, Education Sciences, Social & Human Sciences, Technical Studies, Oil & Gas, Agricultural Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine. Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy are not included.
Selected students benefit from comprehensive financial support, including full tuition coverage, free dormitory accommodation (subject to availability), and a monthly stipend of up to €85 for PhD students. The program does not cover international or domestic travel costs. Applicants must have a strong academic record, with a minimum average grade of 7/10 or 'Good' according to Romanian standards. Age limits apply: under 35 for Bachelor’s and Master’s, and under 45 for PhD. Bachelor’s and Master’s programs are taught in Romanian, with a preparatory language year for those who do not speak the language. PhD programs may be offered in English or other approved languages.
To apply, candidates must complete the official online application, upload all required documents in PDF format (including diplomas, transcripts, birth certificate, passport or national ID, and CV), and for PhD applicants, a letter of intent.
