Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands is offering a fully funded PhD position focused on the interactions between microplastics, the gut microbiome, and the intestinal epithelium. The research utilizes advanced stem cell-based intestinal models to explore health risks associated with plastic pollution, with a particular emphasis on infant health. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team and contribute to global efforts addressing environmental health challenges.
