Postdoctoral Position in Chirality-sensitive Nuclear Magnetoelectric Resonance – ERC Project

The Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw, a leading center for chemical sciences in Poland and recognized internationally, is offering a postdoctoral position within the ERC-funded project "Chirality-sensitive Nuclear Magnetoelectric Resonance." This project, led by dr hab. Piotr Garbacz, prof. ucz., aims to advance research in nuclear magnetoelectric resonance with a focus on chirality, combining expertise in physical chemistry and electronic engineering. The position is based in the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Laboratory and is funded through the European Research Council under Horizon Europe. The successful candidate will join a dynamic research environment, contributing to cutting-edge investigations involving electronic systems, radio frequency technology, microwave resonators, and advanced laboratory instrumentation. The role requires a Ph.D. in natural sciences or engineering (or a Ph.D. student with an open dissertation procedure), with strong skills in designing, building, and using electronic systems. Experience with radio frequencies, high voltage, cryogenic temperatures, lasers, and microwave resonators is highly desirable. A good command of English is essential, and candidates must meet the legal requirements for academic employment in Poland. The position offers a temporary full-time contract for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The monthly remuneration ranges from 18,000 to 20,000 PLN gross-gross.
