About this position
Are you curious about how light can be used to probe the hidden world of drug delivery systems? Do you enjoy working with complex data and turning it into knowledge that drives pharmaceutical innovation? Here is your chance to join an exciting doctoral project at the University of Copenhagen.
This PhD position, based at the Department of Pharmacy, is a joint initiative between Vito Foderà and myself. Together, we are looking for a motivated candidate to explore how advanced biophotonics combined with data-driven approaches can accelerate the development of polymer-based drug delivery systems.
?? The research focus
You will apply low-frequency Raman and Brillouin spectroscopy to study polymeric matrices that play a key role in drug delivery. By combining these experimental methods with machine learning and modern predictive modelling, the project aims to connect microscopic structural features with macroscopic performance.
