This initiative is a collaborative effort to harness artificial intelligence and cloud-based technologies to accelerate the discovery, design, and deployment of high-performance materials, thereby enabling a sustainable and green future.You will contribute to pioneering work on AI methodologies that facilitate advanced materials development, aiming for a significant reduction in the time to market for essential hydrogen energy sector.Your Job: Conduct cutting-edge research to develop and validate advanced AI methodologies for the characterization, modeling, and simulation of energy materials. Develop code and utilize frameworks like Django to support the automation of synthesis, fabrication, and characterization processes. Engage in the development of modular AI-driven platforms for data management, ensuring the standardization and harmonization of data across platforms. Work with large language models (LLM) and deep learning algorithms to drive the inverse design of materials and uncover new physical and chemical phenomena. Ensure the integration and effectiveness of AI and ML algorithms in high-throughput and automated systems, addressing challenges related to data quality and operando characterization. Contribute to the FAIR-ification of data, establishing systematic data collection and metadata extraction protocols to enhance machine learning-based software applications for materials science.Your Profile: Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, with a strong research interest in sustainable energy technologies and automated systems. Demonstrated experience in programming, particularly in Python, Django, or similar frameworks, with a robust understanding of data extraction and machine learning models. An analytical thinker with proven problem-solving abilities and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of interdisciplinary collaboration. Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative research environment.
