This PhD project explores the integration of Digital Twins, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and behavioural insights to transform the way we approach energy renovation in buildings. The goal of this research is to advance sustainable, resource-efficient renovation techniques aligned with circular economy principles.
We are looking for talented applicants with a background in AI, engineering, architecture, behavioural science, or related fields who are passionate about applying data science to drive sustainable innovation.
This project is an exciting collaboration between the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment, the Department of Computer Science, and NTU Psychology. This project will be supervised by Associate Professor Yangang Xing as the Director of Studies, supported by Prof Alexander Sumich and myself as Co-supervisors.
