We are looking for a motivated # PhD candidate with strong numerical mathematics and geoscience engineering background through our Project # MIRE on # Multiscale # simulation of # deformable # fractured and # faulted # reservoirs The position is a joint opening standing on a long-term collaboration between Prof. Kees Vuik from Delft Institute for Applied Mathematics & myself from the Department of Geoscience & Engineering. In this project, we aim to further develop # numerical methods to # simulate # multiphase # flow and # mechanics of heterogeneous and fractured # porous # media for # geo - # storage of # CO2 and # H2 , specially within our # pEDFM and # ADM in-house developed frameworks, as implemented in # DARSim simulator. We will collaborate with Dr. Mohammed Al Kobaisi during the course of this # MIRE project.
