The position also involves assisting in teaching courses such as Drug Compounding (bachelor), Pharmaceutical Technology (master), and Societal Impact of Drugs I, II, and III (bachelor). Additional responsibilities include guiding student projects and master dissertations, as well as supporting internal and external departmental services.
Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Pharmaceutics or a closely related field by the start of the appointment. For degrees awarded outside the EU, a certificate of equivalence (NARIC) is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong interest in academic and/or project-based research, excellent teaching and communication skills, and a willingness to further develop these skills. Prior research experience in pharmaceutical dosage form manufacturing and teaching experience or participation in relevant training or conferences are considered assets. For foreign diplomas in languages other than Dutch, French, German, or English, a translation must be provided.
The appointment is for two years, renewable twice for two years (up to six years total) based on positive evaluations. Remuneration is according to salary scale AAP3, and staff benefits include paid leave, training opportunities, and commuting reimbursement.
