The IAPETUS partnership, funded by NERC, offers PhD opportunities for the 2026/27 cohort across a range of universities in Northern England and Southern Scotland, including Newcastle University, Durham University, University of Stirling, and others. Projects span diverse research areas such as environmental science, ecology, geoscience, climate change, biodiversity, biogeochemical cycles, hazards, and ecosystem monitoring.
