Fully funded project on "Discourses of borders, immigration and the nation: the politics and language of exclusion"
We are looking for suitable candidates for a fully funded PhD project on "Discourses of borders, immigration and the nation: the politics and language of exclusion", offered by the CHORAL project, a Horizon Europe Marie Sklodowska Curie programme co-funded by the European Union as part of the UNITA - Universitas Montium alliance. The PhD candidate will be given a three-year grant and will be co-tutored by me at the University of Turin and Miguel-Angel Benitez-Castro at the Universidad de Zaragoza . As part of the co-tutelle arrangement, s/he will spend her/his first and third year in Turin and her/his second year in Zaragoza. The topic of the PhD is interdisciplinary (Linguistics/Discourse Analysis and Politics in the UK), but preference will be given to candidates with an experience in Discourse Analysis/Critical Discourse Analysis.
The call opens today, 15 November 2024, and will close on 15 January 2025.
