The University of Parma is organizing the MSCA@UNIPR BOOTCAMP 2026, a unique opportunity for postdoctoral researchers aiming to apply for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF) 2026. The Bootcamp, held from May 26–28, 2026, at the University of Parma in Italy, offers intensive, in-person training on proposal writing and evaluation, with continuous support for preparing and submitting MSCA-PF proposals. The initiative is designed for international postdoctoral researchers who wish to choose the University of Parma as their host institution.

Associate Professor Mirko Morini is available to supervise one candidate interested in developing a project in the field of Smart Energy Systems. Research topics include energy efficiency and optimization, integration of renewable energy sources and storage, digitalization of energy networks, and coupling ICT with energy for sustainable solutions. Selected Bootcamp participants will receive a reimbursement fee to cover travel, accommodation, and subsistence: up to 1,500 euros for researchers from European countries and up to 2,000 euros for those from non-European countries. This reimbursement is provided only if the participant attends the Bootcamp in person and submits a draft project proposal by July 5, 2026. The Bootcamp does not provide direct research funding or a salary; its focus is on supporting the MSCA-PF application process.

Eligibility requires meeting the MSCA PF criteria, which typically include holding a doctoral degree and not having resided or carried out their main activity in Italy for more than 12 months in the three years prior to the call deadline. Applicants should have a strong research background in smart energy systems or related fields and be able to develop a competitive project proposal in collaboration with a University of Parma supervisor.
