The Department of Psychology at the University of Copenhagen is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position focused on promoting plant-rich eating in a family context, as part of the interdisciplinary GreenFamily project. This project, funded by Plantefonden, aims to support Danish families with children in transitioning towards more sustainable, plant-rich, and healthy diets. The research will be conducted in collaboration with the Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports, and the Department of Food Science, integrating expertise from psychology, nutrition, and food science.

The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Annemarie Olsen and Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Adéla Plechatá, contributing to the behavioral psychology component of the project. Key responsibilities include conducting a systematic literature review on interventions for promoting plant-rich eating in families, designing and pilot testing behavioral interventions, and participating in the design, data collection, and analysis of a randomized crossover trial. The research will employ both quantitative and qualitative methods to generate actionable insights for public health campaigns and the development of practical tools for families.

Applicants should hold a PhD in Psychology, Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field by the start date. Essential qualifications include expertise in behavior change (especially in sustainability, health behavior, or environmental psychology), experience with experimental or quasi-experimental research designs, strong methodological and quantitative skills, and proficiency in English scientific writing. Danish language skills at B2 level are preferred for working with local families. Experience with randomized controlled trials, longitudinal data analysis, and interdisciplinary research is advantageous.

The position is full-time for 20 months, with the possibility of extension if part-time. The salary starts at DKK 29,600 per month plus an 18.7% pension contribution, with potential for annual negotiation.
