About this position
The Cognition Lab at the University of Zurich, chaired by Prof. Klaus Oberauer, is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position in the Department of Psychology, Cognitive Psychology Unit. This is a 3-year position (80% FTE) with a possible renewal for one additional year. The successful candidate will join a vibrant research environment focused on the capacity limits of cognition, including working memory, long-term memory, and attention. The lab employs experimental and individual-differences studies as well as computational modeling to advance understanding in cognitive psychology.
The position involves both research and teaching (one course per semester). Applicants should hold a PhD in psychology or a related discipline, have experience with experimental research, possess excellent methodological knowledge and skills, demonstrate a very good command of English, and show a strong interest in pursuing an academic career in cognitive psychology. Additional desirable qualifications include experience publishing in international journals, programming skills, and familiarity with mathematical or computational modeling.
